5 years agoPhoenix Suns small forward Kelly Oubre Jr. grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds to record his first double-double of the year during Saturday’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Oubre also set a season high in minutes played (38), parlaying his time on the floor into a 25-point effort that included three made triples. He also added four steals to cap off a dominant fantasy evening. Phoenix’s past five games have seen Oubre find his groove, as he has averaged 23 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest over that stretch. With the team likely to remain thin in the frontcourt Sunday versus Denver, Oubre can be presumably be relied upon to continue seeing an increased role on both ends of the floor.--Jesse Borek
