Keita Bates-Diop Scores Career-High 22 Points Off Bench
5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small/power forward Keita Bates-Diop saw a sizable role in his team’s rotation during Saturday’s loss to the Phoenix Suns, which allowed him to go for a career-high 22 points on 9-for-18 shooting during 37 minutes off the team’s bench. Injuries forced Minnesota into a severe crunch for productive minutes, which Bates-Diop -- who had scored 11 points all season coming into the game -- filled. Should both Josh Okogie and Treveon Graham be absent Monday versus Atlanta, Bates-Diop would presumably see another considerable role off the bench, though he is far from a fantasy or DFS certainty.
