5 years agoSacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield scored 41 points on 15-for-26 shooting from the field with five rebounds, two assists, a block, and 11 triples in a 103-102 loss to the Boston Celtics. The game was Hield's seventh this year with at least five threes made, and he became the 10th player in NBA history to make 11 or more triples in a game. It was a career night for the 26-year-old, who needed it after three consecutive games shooting 40 percent or worse. Hield has averaged a career-high 32.1 minutes per game but has shot 40.9 percent from the field and 37.7 percent from three, both career-lows. Perhaps he can use this historic showing to put together a hot streak from three.--Tim Capurso
