5 years agoBoston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown recorded 24 points, four rebounds and, a steal in a 103-102 win over the Sacramento Kings. Brown helped to make up for the absence of Kemba Walker (neck) by scoring a team-high 24 points. The 23-year-old aggressively looked to finish in the painted area and took advantage of a mismatch with Bogdan Bogdanovic, scoring seven straight against him in the third quarter to give Boston the lead. It's been the breakout Celtics fans (and fantasy managers) have been hoping for, as Brown has posted career-highs in every category except blocks and three-point percentage. Brown and the Celtics will play their next two against the Brooklyn Nets, who have allowed the second-most shot attempts in the NBA.--Tim Capurso
