5 years agoSacramento Kings small forward Harrison Barnes narrowly missed out on his first double-double of the season on Wednesday, finishing a 97-91 loss to Philadelphia with 14 points and nine rebounds. The 27-year-old forward cooled off after posting back-to-back 20-point games, going just 6-for-14 from the field and 1-for-4 from downtown. He did, however, record a career-high matching six assists in 39 minutes of action. Barnes is averaging only 1.5 assists for his career, but he has managed to dish out 2.7 dimes this month and now has two games with six assists in November. He likely has to focus on playmaking again on Friday against the Nuggets, who have allowed only 16.6 points per 48 minutes to small forwards this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
