5 years agoDetroit Pistons center Andre Drummond snatched 19 rebounds during Friday’s defeat to the Charlotte Hornets, feasting on a squad that was playing without starting center Cody Zeller. Drummond logged a game-high 38 minutes and spurred his time on the floor into a 7-for-12 shooting performance that gave him 15 points to go along with three assists and two blocks. The double-double was already his 16th of the year, further increasing his dominant lead on the league in rebounds per contest. He next faces a Spurs squad Sunday that he has reeled off a double-double against in each of their last six meetings.--Jesse Borek
