5 years agoDetroit Pistons point/shooting guard Derrick Rose was instant offense off the bench during his team’s loss to the Orlando Magic on Friday. He shot 8-for-12 from the field overall in his 22 minutes, including going 3-for-4 from long range, to give him a team-best 23 points, his highest total since Nov. 1. In addition to the scoring, he tossed in four assists and two rebounds, as owners can continue to rely upon Rose for contributions across the stat sheet. His minutes appear capped around his 23.6 per game average, but that shouldn’t affect his consistency moving forward, no matter the opponent.--Jesse Borek
