5 years agoGolden State Warriors power forward/center Kevon Looney will miss Sunday’s contest against the Orlando Magic, but he is expected to return to the rotation for Monday’s outing versus the Atlanta Hawks after having last suited up on Oct. 24. Looney started the season opener and played 10 minutes before a right hamstring ailment sidelined him. Head coach Steve Kerr has noted that if Looney is able to play, he would be on a minutes restriction, although Golden State will take all of the healthy bodies that they can get. Willie Cauley-Stein and Marquese Chriss would presumably see a slight downtick in usage once Looney is confirmed to be a go.--Jesse Borek
