5 years agoDallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell had one of his best games in recent memory against the Lakers, finishing with 15 points on six of nine shooting along with nine rebounds. The 15 points mark only the second double-digit scoring outing for Powell since Nov. 14, and the nine rebounds were his most in a game this season. Powell certainly has the athletic potential for similar performances, but until we see a more consistent stream of them, there's no reason to take a chance on him with more attractive options likely available on the free-agent market.--Daniel Lubofsky - RotoBaller
