Evan Fournier Ties Career High With 32 Points In Victory
5 years agoOrlando Magic shooting guard/small forward Evan Fournier tied his career-best scoring outing of 32 points during Sunday’s win over the Golden State Warriors. Fournier shot 13-for-21 from the field overall, including 6-for-10 from behind the three-point line; the only previous occasion in which he also went for 32 points came on Jan. 16, 2018, versus Minnesota. Over the five games in which Nikola Vucevic has been absent due to an ankle injury, Fournier has averaged 24.8 points per contest, including hitting the 30-point plateau twice. As long as Vucevic remains out, Fournier is an upper tier fantasy option in any-sized format, next taking the floor Tuesday against a hapless Washington group that is allowing a league-high 121.1 points per game.
