5 years agoWashington Wizards power forward Rui Hachimura had the best scoring night of his young career during Sunday’s loss against the Los Angeles Clippers. He shot 13-for-23 from the field and finished with a new career high of 30 points, having combined for just 29 over his previous three games. The Rookie of the Year candidate also added nine rebounds, coming just one board shy of logging the second double-double of his career. His three assists and 38 minutes both also tied career highs, as Hachimura looks to roll this effort into play Tuesday against Orlando and put himself back into the wider season-long fantasy conversation.--Jesse Borek
