5 years agoToronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry will not only make his return to action for Tuesday’s game against the Miami Heat, he has been given the green light to play as many minutes as he can handle. Lowry has missed each of Toronto’s previous 11 contests due to a left thumb injury, but after having initially been deemed doubtful to play versus Miami, head coach Nick Nurse will welcome back the All-Star to the rotation. Getting Lowry back in the mix means that Fred Vanvleet’s breakout campaign will take somewhat of a hit, although the two men figure to continue seeing a large share of the load in the backcourt.--Jesse Borek
