5 years agoPhoenix Suns point guard Ricky Rubio set up teammates early and often during Thursday’s victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, dishing out a season-best 15 assists. Rubio didn’t only help deliver buckets to others, he got some of his own, collecting 13 points, in addition to his six rebounds and four steals. The assists output marks his most in a regular-season contest since April 3, 2017, now giving him 8.7 per game this year, which puts him on pace for his most in a campaign since ‘16-17. He will have a favorable matchup Saturday when he faces a Rockets defense yielding copious fantasy points to opposing point guards this year.--Jesse Borek
