5 years agoLos Angeles Clippers small/power forward Kawhi Leonard paced his squad with 17 points during Friday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Leonard finished just 5-for-14 from the field, contributing across the stat sheet with five rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks also to his credit. Having logged 30 minutes, it now marks the seventh consecutive game that Leonard has stayed below the 31-minute plateau. He is traditionally able to produce gaudy numbers in that span, but Milwaukee’s stifling defense stunted that Friday. Leonard is a strong bounce-back candidate Sunday when he faces the Wizards, who are yielding a league-high 121.9 points per game.--Jesse Borek
