5 years agoChicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine compiled 22 points during Friday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors, with his attempt at 25 clanking off the rim in the waning seconds as he had a look from deep that would have won the game. Irrespective of the late miss, he also added six rebounds and six assists, continuing his upward trajectory after a week of stagnation heading into Thanksgiving. Over his last five games, LaVine is averaging 27.8 points and four made triples per contest. He remains Chicago’s No. 1 scoring option on a nightly basis, which bodes well for his season-long prognosis.--Jesse Borek
