5 years agoDallas Mavericks guard/forward Luka Doncic continued his dominant run by nearly notching a double-double during Saturday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans despite playing only 26 minutes. Doncic logged 26 points on 8-for-15 shooting, adding in nine assists and six rebounds, giving him 18 consecutive games with at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists to his credit. He was not needed for a full allotment of minutes due to the nature of Dallas’ win, although that should mean he’ll have relatively few limitations for the second leg of the team’s back-to-back Sunday versus Sacramento.--Jesse Borek
