5 years agoToronto Raptors point/shooting guard Fred Vanvleet has his status up in the air for Wednesday’s contest versus the Los Angeles Clippers due to a right knee contusion. The ailment kept Vanvleet out of Monday’s game, paving the way for Norman Powell to enter the starting five, an arrangement that the team would likely continue should Vanvleet ultimately be ruled out. One of the league’s highest utilized players in terms of minutes per game (36.6), Vanvleet would appear in line to see his normal workload should he eventually get the thumbs up to suit up.--Jesse Borek
