5 years agoWashington Wizards forward Davis Bertans tallied 32 points, nine rebounds, eight threes, one assist, and one block in a 114-107 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Bertans has seen an increase in playing time because of the injury to Thomas Bryant- and he has taken full advantage of it. He's been scorching hot in six December games. Here are his numbers: 22 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 5.6 3PG, one BPG, and one SPG in 33.4 MPG. He's shot an unconscious 47 percent from three in his last 10- and there appears to be no end in sight. Bertans needs to be in lineups ahead of a Saturday night matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies, who have allowed the fourth-most three-pointers made per game in the league.--Tim Capurso
