5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid posted a dominant performance in Thursday's 115-109 victory over the Celtics, scoring a season-high 38 points on 12-for-21 shooting from the field and 2-for-3 from three-point range. The 25-year-old added 13 rebounds, six assists, one block and 12 made free-throws in 36 minutes played — his second-highest total of the season. The fourth year big man has entered December effectively, averaging 22.4 points, 12.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists in five contests to open the month.
