5 years agoChicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine managed to tie for the team lead in scoring during Friday’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets, but even that meant just 12 points on 4-for-19 shooting. His outing was aided by the eight rebounds and two assists that he collected, but it was a step backwards on the heels of his perfect 7-for-7 outing from long range his last time out. Downturns in performance have popped up this year for LaVine, although he appears in line get a hefty offensive workload on a nightly basis. He will look to find his stroke on the second leg of a back-to-back Saturday versus a Clippers backcourt that could be thin due to injury.--Jesse Borek
