5 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Isaiah Thomas had been tagged as questionable ahead of Saturday’s contest versus the Memphis Grizzlies due to a left calf strain, but he will ultimately be sidelined, once again paving the way for Ish Smith to earn the start and be an intriguing DFS entity. Chris Chiozza has stepped into a reserve role, but has contributed little by the way of fantasy relevance to this point. Thomas’ absence marks his fifth straight game on the sidelines with his next chance at returning to action coming Monday versus Detroit.--Jesse Borek
