Spencer Dinwiddie Posts Team-High 24 Points In Loss
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie finished with 24 points, eight assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block on 8-for-18 shooting from field goal range in Saturday's 110-102 loss to the Raptors. The 26-year-old has scored 20+ points in five of six games to begin the month, with impressive averages of 23.0 points, 7.2 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals in December. Kyrie Irving (shoulder) last played on Nov. 14, and since that time Dinwiddie has emerged as the leader of the team with increased minutes and a primary role on the offensive end. Over the last month, the sixth year guard is posting second round value in standard 9-cat leagues, making him a must-start option moving forward.
