Paul George Closes Out Road Trip With 27-Point Outing
5 years agoLos Angeles Clippers small/power forward Paul George played Saturday’s loss to the Chicago Bulls without the assistance of high-scoring teammates Kawhi Leonard and Lou Williams. Even without their offensive punch, George managed 27 points on 9-for-20 shooting, knocking down three triples. As has become custom, he packed the remainder of the stat sheet by adding six assists, four rebounds and two steals. Still an upper tier fantasy asset ahead of Tuesday’s matchup with Phoenix, George has turned the ball over six times in each of his last two outings. He should face less resistance against a Suns defense that has yielded 114.3 points per game on the year.
