5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard JA Morant made his return to action for Saturday’s win over the Washington Wizards following a one-game absence and dropped 18 points in 28 minutes. The Grizzlies have been cautious with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, limiting him to an average of 29 minutes per contest, but he has still compiled 18.7 points and 6.4 assists on a nightly basis across his first 20 professional games. The early season leading candidate for the league’s Rookie of the Year Award can likely be rostered in any sized league, with his next matchup coming Monday versus Miami, whom he scored 14 points against back on opening night.--Jesse Borek
