5 years agoThe Detroit Pistons could be severely short-handed Monday versus the Washington Wizards should both power forward Blake Griffin and center Andre Drummond be absent. Each is listed as questionable to play, while Christian Wood would figure to take on a sizable role in the frontcourt should either miss the contest. Drummond’s absence Saturday marked his first of the year, while Griffin struggled mightily in that outing to the tune of a 0-for-7 shooting performance. Check back prior to tip-off to get an update on the status of both as either could benefit mightily should the other be absent from the mix.--Jesse Borek
