5 years agoToronto Raptors point/shooting guard Fred Vanvleet figures to miss his fourth consecutive game Monday versus the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a right knee ailment. Vanvleet’s absence has paved the way for Norman Powell to enter the starting five and see a sizable role in the team’s offense. Toronto has been unable to suit up their preferred rotation for any continued period this season, just recently getting back Kyle Lowry, only to lose Vanvleet alongside him. Averaging 18 points and seven assists per contest, Vanvleet has had a breakout 2019-20, with his next likely chance at suiting up comes Wednesday versus the Pistons.--Jesse Borek
