5 years agoOrlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic returned to the mix for Sunday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans, dropping 20 points and collecting nine rebounds in his first contest back since an ankle sprain kept him out for 11 games. Vucevic was aggressive to the tune of 15 shot attempts across 29 minutes, showcasing that returning to his previous role as the team’s No. 1 scoring option isn’t all that far off. An All-Star for the first time in his career last season, the Swiss big man will have to get on a roll to make that a back-to-back excursion come February, but he still enters Tuesday’s difficult matchup versus the Jazz averaging a double-double this year.--Jesse Borek
