5 years agoSan Antonio Spurs guard Bryn Forbes matched his career high with six made triples in Monday's matchup against the Rockets, shooting a perfect 6-for-6 from deep in the first half before settling with a 6-for-9 record in the end. DeMar DeRozan managed only 12 points, so the Spurs needed another scorer behind LaMarcus Aldridge and Forbes managed to fill the role with 18 points. The 26-year-old guard is having a bizarre month, as he also has a 25-point performance to his name, but he's managed only 19 total points in the other four games. That inconsistency makes Forbes an unreliable fantasy option, but he does have the ability to go off from time to time, and he did have a nice 11-game scoring streak last month.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
