Andre Drummond Records Monster Double-Double In Loss
5 years agoDetroit Pistons center Andre Drummond (eye) returned to the lineup and recorded his 22nd double-double of the season in Wednesday's 112-99 loss to the Raptors, totaling 22 points and 18 rebounds in 37 minutes of action. The 26-year-old took advantage of the missing interior presence of the opposition as a result of Marc Gasol's departure due to hamstring tightness. Drummond added two steals and two blocks on 9-for-16 shooting from the field in the contest. Drummond has established himself as the NBA's best rebounder with over 16 boards per contest — with a margin of over two rebounds per game for the second-highest player. The 26-year-old is a monster in all fantasy formats, while posting first round value in 9-cat leagues.
