To kick off December, Whiteside has now logged eight consecutive double-doubles, averaging 18.4 points and 14 rebounds per contest in that stretch, all while shooting 68.4 percent overall. With Portland relying heavily upon the big man on a nightly basis, he has seen his fantasy value skyrocket, now producing among the game’s elite.
