Kyle Rudolph Is A Shaky Week 16 Start
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph has had a solid second half of the season as he has six touchdowns in his last eight games. However, he's really difficult to trust in Week 16 against the Green Bay Packers. Target-hog Adam Thielen is now healthy and expected to play a full complement of snaps - Rudolph is averaging just under three targets per game that Thielen has been active. On the plus side, the Packers Defense has allowed the ninth-most points to tight ends this season and the Vikings should be passing more with Dalvin Cook (shoulder) and Alexander Mattison (ankle) likely sidelined. That being said, Rudolph simply doesn't project to get enough volume to be trusted as anything more than a touchdown-dependent TE2 in Week 16.
