Davis Bertans Cools Down From Beyond The Arc Against Philly
5 years agoWashington Wizards forward Davis Bertans missed all seven of his three-point attempts versus Philly on Saturday to finish with nine points, nine rebounds and three assists. Bertans, who left the game in the fourth quarter due to a right thigh injury, hadn't missed on all of his three-point attempts in a game since Nov. 15, marking only the second instance for the Latvian sniper this season. There's no reason to think this was anything more than an outlier performance against an elite Sixers defense from one of the league's premier outside shooters at the moment. It's worth keeping an eye on, however, on Bertans' availability moving forward as the Wizards head to New York on Monday for the fourth game in a five-game road trip.
