5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point/shooting guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was held firmly in check the first time that he faced the Los Angeles Clippers -- his former team -- the first time that the two teams met this year. On Sunday, during Oklahoma City’s win, Gilgeous-Alexander tied his career high in scoring with 32 points on 12-for-25 shooting. It was an all-around massive performance from the second-year guard, who added five assists, three rebounds and two steals to pad his stat sheet. The outing gives him back-to-back games having gone for 32 points, although he’ll have to wait for his next chance to take the floor until Thursday versus Memphis, which should provide a favorable matchup, as the Grizzlies rank near the bottom of the league in fantasy points allowed to opposing guards this season.--Jesse Borek
