5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was listed as questionable entering Monday's tilt with the Pistons due to an illness but managed to play 28 minutes in the win. Embiid scored 20 points on an efficient 7-for-9 shooting and added eight rebounds with three assists to go along with excellent defensive numbers of one steal and three blocks. Embiid looks to be playing better as of late after a slowish start. Embiid and his 76ers take on the Bucks on Christmas Day which should make for some good television.--Gianni Costantiello
