5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard/forward Ben Simmons provided a monster triple-double on Monday and it helped his club pick up the 125-109 win over the Pistons. Simmons handed out a career-high 17 assists to go along with 13 rebounds while hitting eight of 14 from the floor en route to 16 points in 37 minutes of action. Simmons is having a nice month with averages of 16.5 points, 8.7 assists, 7.1 rebounds, 0.7 blocks and 1.8 steals while shooting 61.5% from the floor in 12 games in December. He will have the tough task of playing some minutes against Giannis Antetokounmpo on Christmas Day, which is his club's next game.--Gianni Costantiello
