5 years agoToronto Raptors guard Fred Vanvleet scored 27 points with six assists, four rebounds, four steals, and two triples in a 118-102 loss to the Boston Celtics. VanVleet's 52.4 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent shooting from the arc were his best marks since returning from a knee injury. He's been an absolute steal for fantasy owners who selected him late or lucked into snagging him off waivers. VanVleet has delivered elite value in assists, 7.0 and steals, 1.9- both career-highs. The 25-year-old possesses added upside for at least the next week, due to Toronto's injuries. VanVleet and the Raptors will next play against the Celtics again on Saturday night.--Tim Capurso
