Kawhi Leonard Scores 35, Leads Christmas Comeback
5 years agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard scored 35 points with 12 rebounds, five assists, five triples, and a steal in a 111-106 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Leonard was unstoppable in this one, as he poured in 18 of his 35 in the second half and helped the Clippers erase a 15-point deficit. It's his eighth double-double and his second 30-point performance against the Lakers this season. Leonard is red-hot in his last two games, with averages of 30.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 3.0 triples, and 2.0 steals per game on 63.4/60.7/100 percent shooting splits. He'll get two days to rest before a Saturday night matchup with the Utah Jazz, who he scored 30 against in his first meeting with them.
