5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Derrick Favors took the role of setting up teammates on Wednesday when he handed out a career-high eight assists in the win over the Nuggets. Favors did not stop there as he added eight points with 13 rebounds to go along with three blocks and a steal in 30 minutes of action. Favors has quietly been providing some decent lines since returning from injury and personal leave with averages of 11.2 rebounds, 8.6 points, 3.0 assists and 2.0 blocks a night in his last five games. Big men who can provide are thin on waiver wires, so if he still there, he's worth an add.--Gianni Costantiello
