Jaren Jackson Jr. Packs Stat Sheet Across 20-Point Outing
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. was limited to just 2-for-9 shooting from long range during Friday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, but finished with 20 points across his 35 minutes. In addition to the scoring, Jackson added four rebounds, four assists, three blocks and two steals, giving him multiple category contributions in those five statistical prompts for just the second time all season. Despite his length, the second-year big man has not been much of a significant factor on the glass, yet his scoring average sits at 17.6 points per game through his first 31 contests, an increase of nearly four points on a nightly basis from last year.
