5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas was superb from the field during Thursday’s victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, shooting 9-for-11 en route to a team-best 21 points. While both the scoring and field-goal efficiency are welcome, Valanciunas collected just four rebounds, his third-lowest total of the year. Memphis has continued to remain stingy as it pertains to his minutes, likely capping him near his season averages for the near future. He next faces Denver on Saturday, having collected a double-double in the previous meeting between the two teams on Nov. 17.--Jesse Borek
