5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum managed a 25-point outing on Thursday against the Jazz, shooting 10-for-23 from the field and 3-for-8 from downtown. He also extended his streak with at least one steal to six games, adding four rebounds and a pair of assists. The shots have been dropping for McCollum for a while now, with him sitting on a streak of six consecutive 20-point games. He's gone for at least 30 in half of the outings. McCollum will get a stern test vs. the Lakers next on Saturday in a tricky matchup against a very good defensive team. The Lakers limited McCollum to below 40 percent shooting and 15 points in the first meeting of the season on Dec. 6.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
