Jaylen Brown Drops Career-High 34 Points During Win
5 years agoBoston Celtics shooting guard/small forward Jaylen Brown had the best scoring performance of his young career during Friday’s victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, utilizing a 13-for-20 shooting outing to log a career-best 34 points in just 29 minutes. Brown knocked down five triples for the second consecutive contest, also adding in nine rebounds and two assists as the icing on the cake of a brilliant game. While there are plenty of mouths to feed in the Boston offense, Brown has now exceeded the 25-point plateau in four of the team’s past five games, having firmly entrenched himself as an elite scoring threat, while continuing to contribute across other categories. He runs it back Saturday versus Toronto, whom he dropped 30 points against on Christmas Day.
