Devin Booker Gets Back On Track With 34-Point Outing
5 years agoPhoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker paced the offense with a 34-point evening during Friday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors. Booker shot 13-for-24 from the floor overall, his highest shot total since Nov. 23, while also adding four assists, three rebounds and two steals. But even with the terrific scoring, there remains reason for apprehension: Booker committed a season-high eight turnovers Friday and shot 1-for-6 from long range. Over his last five games, Phoenix’s leading scorer has shot a combined 2-for-20 from behind the arc. In the throes of an eight-game losing streak, Booker led the team in scoring for the first time in nearly three weeks ahead of Saturday’s matchup versus a Sacramento squad that he dropped 30 points against on Nov. 19.
