D'Angelo Russell Ruled Out For Saturday’s Contest
5 years agoGolden State Warriors point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell will miss his third straight game Saturday versus the Detroit Pistons due to a shoulder contusion. Russell’s absence has paved the way for Alec Burks to take on a considerable offensive role, which should once again be the case versus the Pistons, even as others such as Glenn Robinson III and Draymond Green also see increased usage. Russell was on fire offensively over his last six games, averaging 27.8 points in that span, including three contests with at least 30 points. His next chance at returning to action comes Monday versus the Kings.
