5 years agoDallas Mavericks point/shooting guard Delon Wright is questionable to suit up for Saturday’s contest versus the Charlotte Hornets due to foot soreness. Wright has averaged 7.8 points per contest primarily off the bench this season, on pace to shoot a new career-best 48.4 percent from the field overall. With his contributions across the stat sheet (3.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists per game), Wright retains DFS punt play value, especially as Dallas scrambles for offensive thump with Kristaps Porzingis (knee) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (hamstring) out of the mix for the time being. Check back on Wright’s status ahead of tip-off, as his absence would likely pave the way for Seth Curry and Jalen Brunson to see larger roles.--Jesse Borek
