5 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young saw an enormous offensive role during Saturday’s win over the Indiana Pacers with multiple teammates sidelined, capitalizing to the tune of 41 points on 12-for-23 shooting overall, including 5-for-13 from long range. Young had 18 points in the first quarter alone, setting the pace for a massive night of output, also adding eight assists, four rebounds and two steals across his 37 minutes. He will have a difficult matchup Monday versus Denver, although should John Collins and others remain sidelined, Young will likely be forced to continue firing up 20-plus shots on a nightly basis.--Jesse Borek
