5 years agoAtlanta Hawks shooting guard Kevin Huerter had his best outing of the season during Saturday’s win over the Indiana Pacers, taking advantage of his increased role in the offense to shoot 10-for-18 overall, logging a season-best 26 points. Huerter snatched six rebounds, dished out five assists, hit four threes and added two steals during an all-around brilliant effort, serving as the clear No. 2 scoring option with injuries leaving Atlanta short-handed. Huerter appears to be finding his rhythm offensively, having averaged 16.5 points over his last six games, shooting 41 percent from long range in that span. He faces a tough matchup Monday against Denver, who is holding opponents to the lowest three-point percentage (32.2) of any team in the league.--Jesse Borek
