5 years agoGolden State Warriors point/shooting guard Alec Burks tied his career high with 14 made free throws during Saturday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons, finishing with a game-high 27 points. Burks kept up the scoring production despite shifting back to the bench, a role that he is likely to reprise with D'Angelo Russell back in the mix, which is expected for Monday. In addition to the scoring, Burks added seven rebounds and five assists, continuing to provide multi-category contributions. He holds solid season-long value moving forward due to his high-octane scoring ability, having reached the 20-point mark for the 10th time this year.--Jesse Borek
