Kemba Walker To Miss Third Straight Outing
5 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker has been preemptively ruled out for Monday’s game versus the Washington Wizards due to an illness. The absence will mark the third straight contest on the sidelines for Walker, who will likely cede way to Marcus Smart in the backcourt once again. Walker, who is yet to suit up in 2020, began to percolate during the final month of 2019, averaging 23.2 points per game in 13 December contests, shooting 40.8 percent from long range. His next chance at returning to action comes Wednesday against the Spurs, whom he scored 26 points against back on Nov. 9.
