5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point/shooting guard Jrue Holiday has been deemed questionable to suit up for Monday’s contest versus the Utah Jazz due to a left elbow contusion. Holiday has started each of New Orleans’ previous 32 contests, averaging 19.6 points per game this season and putting himself on pace to set a new career high in makes from long range at 2.0 per contest. His absence would likely pave the way for Lonzo Ball and J.J. Redick to absorb many of his ball-handling duties and shot attempts, even with the stingy matchup. Check back closer to tip-off to get a read on Holiday’s chances of taking the floor.--Jesse Borek
